You can customize the menu structure, app content, and interface of standard applications using the standard app editor.
Standard app editor

(Important)

  • The standard app editor requires the use of a compatible system version of OPH-5000i.
  • Standard app editor OPH-5000i compatible system version
    E10.1 E10.1 or higher
  • You can update the OPH-5000i's system from system update in the standard app editor.

Setting steps using standard app editor


① Create new

First, select App Settings from the new creation menu.
If you want to use the selected app settings as is, proceed to ⑤ Communication interface settings.

② Edit title

Edit the main menu title.

③Edit menu

You can edit the menu name, change the order, add, and delete.
To add, select from the app catalog.

④Work settings

Menus whose base functions are "Collection" and "Matching" allow you to edit the app content.

⑤Communication interface settings

Select from Bluetooth/Wireless LAN/USB and configure.
For more information, see Communication Interface.

⑥ Send settings

Send the settings created using "Send Settings".

  • Sending settings is compatible with OPH-5000i system E10.1 or later.

Configuration specifications

Communication interface

  • You can choose from Bluetooth, wireless LAN/FTP, and USB.
  • Both interfaces send/receive data files.
  • Data file

  • Data file names are in 8.3 format (file name up to 8 characters and extension up to 3 characters). Long file names are not allowed.
  • The data file format is CSV.

  • The data file name on the PC communicating with OPH-5000i differs depending on the interface.
  • Barcode reading

  • You can set whether to read some typical barcodes and various options.
  • You can import settings from UniversalConfig.
  • Title name

  • The main menu title name can be up to 14 half-width characters.
  • Menu

  • Up to 9 menus can be displayed.
  • Menu names can be up to 15 half-width characters.
  • Base features

  • The following types of functions are executed when a menu is selected.
  • Collection: Records input through barcodes and keystrokes.
    Matching: Records input of 2 to 3 barcodes.
    Code checker: You can check the content and type of the barcode read.
    File transmission/reception: Send/receive data files using OseComm32 via Bluetooth or USB.
    FTP Send: Send data files to an FTP server via wireless LAN.
    FTP reception: Receive master files from an FTP server via wireless LAN. Can only be used when using the master function.
    Power OFF: Turn off the power of the device.
    Scanner mode: Read the barcode and transmit the barcode content via Bluetooth HID/SPP. *This feature is available after E10.1.
  • Up to 9 input items can be added.
  • The maximum number of digits for the app title name varies depending on the function.
  • Collection and matching: maximum 10 half-width digits Others: Maximum 16 half-width digits

    Menu to run at startup

  • Specify the menu to run automatically at startup.
  • "End (base function: power OFF)" cannot be specified.
  • *This is a feature from E10.1 onwards.
