Barcode

• Barcode settings:
  You can set default barcode reading and options for Standard app.
• Universal Menu settings (Menu Code reading):
  If you want to set a barcode other than the default barcode above, Create a settings menu with UniversalConfig and paste the copied command into the text box.
  UniversalConfig can be downloaded from the tools on our website.

  If you want to set the Universal Menu for each item, you can specify it by editing the app screen. For details, please refer to Functions. (System E10.1 or later)

(Operation method)

1. Click [Standard app editor] → [Other settings] to open the settings screen.
2. Check the checkbox of the barcode you want to set.
   Example:
   ☑Enable Industrial 2 of 5 reading.
   ☐Disable Industrial 2 of 5 reading.
3. Explains an example of generating FreeLineOCR MenuCode with UniversalConfig.
   ①. Select the UniversalConfig menu ⇒ [Scanner] ⇒ [OCR free editing settings] to display the settings screen.
   ②. Make settings to read any OCR string, and press the [Try Settings] ⇒ [Complete Settings] button.
   For detailed operating instructions, please refer to the UniversalConfig help.

   ③Right-click the command in the command history and select "Copy all commands".

4. Paste the command copied with UniversalConfig into the text box of [Standard app editor] → [Other settings] → [Universal Menu settings (Read Menu Code)].

5. Click the OK button.
6. Click [Standard app editor] → [Send Settings] to open the settings sending screen.
   Check [Barcode Settings].

7. Connect OPH-5000i and PC with a USB cable.
   Click the [Start Sending] button to send the barcode reading settings you created to the OPH-5000i via USB.
   

   (Caution)

   Settings can only be sent from the TOP menu of the Standard app.
   After sending, the Standard app will restart.
