Change details
- Fixed an issue where, when automatically selecting a Bluetooth port, the connection was checked even for currently disabled Bluetooth ports.
- Bluetooth automatic selection was only performed when RunAtStart was enabled, but now it is automatically selected whenever the Bluetooth port is used.
- When using a USB port, OseComm32 used to display the last used COM port as the current value of the USB port, but OseComm32Settings now retains the USB port setting value independently, and the USB port value is I always tried to follow this.
- When the USB port is not selected in OseComm32Settings, "Not set" is displayed.
- When the USB port was not set, when starting OseComm32 using the USB port, the following error message was displayed and EseComm32 was prevented from starting.
No USB serial port is selected.
Select the USB serial port in OseComm32Settings.
Installation steps
- If you already have the OseComm32Settings utility installed, open Programs > Programs and Features in Control Panel and uninstall 'OseComm32_Settings'.
(Caution)
If you install without uninstalling, the following warning will be displayed during installation and you will not be able to continue the installation.
"Another version of the product is already installed. Installation of this version cannot continue..."
- Download the new version zip file from the following link.
- Unzip the downloaded zip file to get the following file.
OseComm32_Settings.msi
- Open this .msi file to launch the installer.
- Please install according to the guidance. You can leave all the setting items displayed during installation at their default values.
- If the installation is completed successfully, a shortcut named "OseComm32 settings" will be registered in the Opticon folder of the start menu by default.
