- Bluetooth SPP
Bluetooth SPP is a communication method that connects to a PC, etc. via Bluetooth and sends the barcode contents to the serial port.
Barcode reading settings
If you want to change the barcode reading settings of Scanner mode, read the menu QR code created with UniversalConfig.
Settings will be saved when reading the menu QR code. The same settings will be used when using Scanner mode again after the power is turned off.

- Preparing input on the PC side
Start Notepad or similar program on your PC, disable the IME's Japanese conversion, and use alphabet input.
- Send barcode
Press the SCAN key to read the barcode, and the contents of the barcode will be displayed in Notepad.
- Bluetooth disconnect
Press and hold the SCAN key for more than 3 seconds to disconnect the Bluetooth connection.
*The power will turn off if there is no operation for 120 seconds. The time until the power turns off can be changed using power management in the Scanner mode settings (F2 key).
*The default time for automatically disconnecting Bluetooth in Scanner mode is 180 seconds. Bluetooth will be disconnected in the following cases.- When 180 seconds have elapsed since the key was pressed while power is being supplied
- When 181 seconds or more is set for the power off time due to no operation in power management, and 180 seconds have passed since the key was pressed

Barcode transmission via Bluetooth SPP
WIMEbt is a Bluetooth virtual serial port This is a Windows application that outputs the received string to the active window. Although it is not possible to directly send a key code like HID, you can specify in WIME settings to send a key code when a control code (0x0 to 0x1F, 0x7F) is received. (CR⇒ENTER/BS⇒BackSpase etc.)
